Lizzie and Adam - Wedding

It was a privilege for me to photograph Lizzie and Adam's wedding. LIzzie was a former co-worker of mine and of course I was excited to shoot their wedding. They are the calmest and most relaxed wedding couple I've met. Both are also very sharp. The wedding, located in Palo Alto, was beautiful, the families were wonderful, and the food was delicious too. LIzzie and with Adam's support, of course, did a great job planning the details of the wedding. It must be from all there engineering and science backgrounds, haha. Lizzie and Adam, thank you for having me photograph your lovely wedding day. I wish you both all the best in your life together.

Underwater Photography

Here is my attempt at underwater photography. These were shot with my Canon G7 point and shoot camera encased in an underwater housing. These images are of my nephew Bryson taken at Grand Hyatt Resort in Kauai. I think his tattoos add a nice touch. Camera Settings: Underwater Camera Mode with Diffused Flash. Enhanced in Lightroom 2, NIK and CS4. Enjoy.

Julissa and Sebastian Wedding

I had the wonderful privilege of photographing Julissa and Sebastian's Wedding in Berkeley, California. What a great couple these two are. They are an extremely nice and friendly couple. I knew this was going to be a great session when they booked me. This was my first wedding session where it rained the entire day. We had planned to do some outdoor shots and including the fire truck (he's a fire fighter), but the rain got the best of us. I would like to thank Julissa's relative for being the lead when driving to the restaurant. Without him, I would not have made it to the ceremony on time. I have never driven that fast in the rain either. Everything turned out great, even with a late start. I had a great time meeting their family and friends....

Jen and Tish Wedding

I know I haven't been keeping up with my blog because of my busy work schedule, but I wanted really wanted to put up this post. I had the honor of witnessing and photographing my first same sex marriage ceremony at the Preservation Park in Oakland. Jen and Tish were previous portrait clients of mine and had requested I shoot their wedding, which I obliged. It was a fun and unique experience to witness this proud moment in their future together. Here are a few of my favorite images from their wedding.

Busy, Not Lazy

Okay.. I know it's been a long time since I blogged. I was very busy with work and moving into our new house. I've been working on the house every night and every chance I can. I also squeeze in time to do some photo editing of some shoots. I really enjoy working on the house because I get to do it the way I want to. I've spent countless hours and late nights painting the interior of the house. My daughter Aleina wanted a pink room so I painted her room pink, but later realized after I finished that it was too pink (like the color of Pepto Bismol). I got a headache whenever I saw her room, so I ended up re-painting her room with a lighter pink. I'm so glad I bought one of those $200 ladder (Little Giant). It wasn't tall enough, but it made my work so much easier.
